Merge PDF

Combine multiple PDFs into a single file in the order shown below. Everything happens in your browser — your files are never uploaded.

Click to choose or drag PDF files here Select several at once, or add them in batches

Tip: password-protected (encrypted) PDFs can't be merged. Remove the password first, then try again.

How to use

  1. Click the area above or drag PDF files onto it. You can select several at once or add more later.
  2. Use "Up" and "Down" in the list to set the order — that order becomes the page order of the final PDF.
  3. Click "Merge PDFs" and the result downloads automatically as merged.pdf.

When it's useful

Combining a contract with its appendices into one submission, or joining thesis chapters, scanned receipts for an expense claim, or your kids' homework scans into a single file to send — these are the most common uses.

FAQ

Q: Are my files uploaded?
A: No. Merging is done entirely in your browser with JavaScript. Your files never pass through any server, and nothing is left behind when you close the page.

Q: How many files can I merge at once?
A: There's no fixed limit — it depends on how much memory your browser has available. Dozens of pages or files of tens of MB are no problem; for very large files, merge in batches.

Q: What if an encrypted PDF won't merge?
A: PDFs with an open password can't be read. Remove the password in the original app, save a copy, then come back and merge.

Q: Does it work on my phone?
A: Yes, it works the same in a mobile browser, though a desktop is more reliable for very large files.
